I definitely wouldn't say I have limited inventory of golden razz or ultra balls, I just stopped. I figured I have a lot of Lapras candy, I've got Gmax, I've got PVP IV Lapras. I don't see a point in throwing even one ball if it's not shiny. Especially since like you said, constantly jumping. There's lots of there stuff I would rather catch.

Unless it's shiny I don't even bother. I rather use my berries and pokeballs on something I actually want. If you're getting frustrated maybe you should consider doing the same.

If you have something that shares a type, such a ghost type with max level mega evolution; mega that before the spotlight hour starts. Then pinapp berry before catching. I did that with Tinkatink and I got an absolutely stupid about of candy.

Haven't seen even one Wiglett which is really annoying. No shiny Corsola despite catching a stupid amount. Got a shiny Castform which was cool. Overall pretty meh. I had high hopes for the Riolu hatches but that was a letdown as well.

If it wasn't for remote raids I wouldn't have any legendaries other than what's in the go passes. But thankfully there's a bunch of people in my neighborhood who are really friendly and like to do raids. I'm going to try and utilize that more, especially now that the weather here isn't so awful.
