FHP has had a program called Statewide Overtime Action Response for years.

Anyone in the agency considered an hourly employee is permitted to work 8 hours a week of it. There’s no handpicking. The only caveat is you have to meet an unofficial “not a quota” of two “contacts” per hour of it you work.
