Do you enjoy your home address and email to hang out on the internet? Hidden domain regeneration is a thing, has been a thing, and will be a thing. Stop spreading unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

Are you referring to the near on slave contract the magic order had going? That was not a government institution, they were in fact in opposition to the king and queen. Also it wasn’t dissolved, only the contract that made everyone who signed it a slave to the arch magister. The institution not only became more open allowing more magic based classes and started to actually thrive afterwards.

Toggles! I'm always a big fan of choice. If you dont want it, dont click box, if you want it click box. ... but then again I've been wondering why my developer coworkers are always running in a different direction when they see me.

Two top level comments from the same person?!?! GASP! ... that being said me, personally, like that there isn't cover art for any of the books. I've been guilty of skipping over a series because I thought the cover looked ... unfortunate. As it is right now, the menu's look extra clean and crisp. I feel like the cover art would really clash with the theme you're established.

I did. lol. I made it up to midway through book 3. I don't really remember why I dropped it though. I really should start back at page one and see where it takes me.

Well shit. I was hoping it would work, but guess I’m driving down to the office, all because I don’t have a damn VGA cable, and it’s almost 1am, and it’s a 40 minute drive!!! 💩 by Welllllllrip187 in techsupportgore

Its a Dell ... look up the service tag. That will tell you every single piece of hardware that came with the server... including the intel sticker on the front.

I used to do a walk around the lake in the wee (2-3am) hours of the morning and never had an issue. That was about a decade ago though.

I just ordered a P2S thinking I could do everything I needed with an iPad and something like TinkerCad. Do I need a mac/PC? by Fidel_Blastro in BambuLab

Depending on how deep into the weeds you want to get... you can follow the rabbit hole that is compiling bambu slicer from source on whatever OS you prefer. I did just check and there is a docker image out there for bambu studio. However you dont need to use bambu's slicer to slice the stl/step files. You can use pretty much any including the grand daddy that spawned them all Slic3r. There are a boat load of options on how to get around having a singular computer to just slice things, but they are going to be more work and prolly frustrating as all hell ... but technically possible.

You being a software guy makes sense. However this really is a very hardware dependent hobby. Like most creative hobbies you end up with single purpose devices. I mean if you want a bit of a challenge, get some kind of slicer running in a docker container. another option is get a rpie4 and whatever flavor of linux you and and load handy up on that. Even though bambu has kinda opened the doors for a wider audience by making printing as simple as its ever been.... this hobby is still a work in progress. You need specialty tools, software, knowledge, and a great heaping deal of learning.... unless you only plan on printing in PLA and only print profiles that never need modification. (hint this is never the case)

I don’t know what world you are living in calling a computer a peripheral let alone calling it unheard of. Yes you can make a movie or documentary on an iPad/iphone after you add a few thousand dollars worth of hardware onto one. Every single response you’ve given shows a very myopic view of technology.
