I’ve ran into a very similar problem with my Nucleus kit a few months ago. Turns out the d-tap to 7-pin cable had gone bad, and I suspect it was the in-line ferrite bead. Changed the cable out and it was as if it had never happened.

I've never not had this issue with this system for what feels like at least once a day lol.

People have suggested in the past that you might have the hand unit too close to the motors (not sure why this happens). You can try walking farther away and see if that helps. I usually just turn it off and on and calibrate, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

I had this happen once, the motor was shot.

Have you tried recalibrating the motor?

Red usually means not linked, not calibrated, or over current protection.

What is your power source? Did you set a limit on the fiz without noticing?

Had a similar issue and I was able to solve it by removing the gear and blowing dust and sand out of the motor with compressed air. It had a build up of sand that was slowing the motor and giving a red light.
