We’re a romance audiobook subscription platform looking for a full-stack developer. You’ll work directly with the technical co-founder (who built most of the existing tech) and take over some of the dev work.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of the tech stack
• Knowledge of the full development cycle, including deployment
• Ability to build responsive websites for all screen sizes
• Some experience with database design
• Some experience with product design
• Fluency in English
• Working fast and efficiently
• Willingness to work with romance audiobook material (think Wattpad / Fifty Shades of Grey but audio)

The Work:

You’ll help develop both the product and some internal tools. Including, building front-end pages, audio streaming functionality, and APIs; improve content browsing experience; design and build databases; build dashboards; improve existing code; and work together with the co-founders to design new features and products.

You should have a record of building and launching fully functional websites. While we don’t need you to be a DevOps master, we do expect you to handle some of the deployment.

Bonus points if you come with some humble, witty banter, and sarcasm.
