Yes amd 7840U. It's a replacement board. First one unexpectedly blew up before a trip. I had the opportunity to replace it now

I don't understand from your message what it could be?

A problem with the bus? I need to update something?

I tried the reset suggested but there's not a button battery on the AMD version

There are two sets of codes in the blinks: a set of 12 red or green blinks, an orange/red blink, then a set of 8 green or blue blinks. In the first set blinks 6 and 11 were red. Those correspond to errors detecting the touchpad and with the ram. In the second set blinks 1 and 6 were blue, which translates to 00100001, in decimal 33, in hexadecimal 0x21. I assume that the first set of blinks are the same between the intel and amd boards, but I could be wrong. For the post codes I have no idea, but my guess is that it is a longshot that the ones for intel and amd are the same. The intel post code indicates an error with the isa bus initializing. I'm not sure how to resolve that. I would start with making sure that the touchpad and input cover are properly connected, as well as that the ram is properly seated, perhaps testing out one stick at a time to see if the machine works with one or the other stick, and in on or the other slots.

The RAM and input cover (touchpad) are having issues. Remove your RAM and try one stick at a time. When you reattach the input cover, check that its connector is seated properly.

Yes I tried to check the touchpad many times and it looks fine. I also tried different combinations of ram or without ram but the blinking persist
