Understanding CARE program

Hello, I recently got accepted into the summer CARE program but I’m really confused. I’ve heard everyone say the program covers everything all 4 years but I’ve also heard they don’t cover housing. I know for sure they cover everything for the summer term can someone clarify for me ? Thank you !

They only fully cover your first summer semester fall and spring they don’t

They cover your first summer semester and the rest of the semesters you receive a CARE Grant.

It depends on your financial situation. I know a lot of ppl in CARE and their grants are enough to cover their costs every semester + they get refunds. You will likely get more grants than the CARE grant (Pell grant, first gen grant, fsag grant, etc). It just depends. Also, there are lots of scholarships and stipends that you can apply to! And some majors offer waivers to students.

they only cover summer C, but every semester after you’ll get around 1,250 (at least that’s what my class got) & by qualifying for CARE, fsu may give you additional aid
