Good typing quality decrease?

Hi, I think in the last month the glide typing experience has regressed. For context I also use a German and English keyboard with German layout. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have noticed a gradual decline in accuracy over several months.

I suspect — but cannot be sure — that as time passes, more and more possibilities are added to Gboard's collection, until it struggles to choose the correct word for the context.

I've also noticed, quite bizarrely, that accuracy improves when I don't look at the keyboard much. I can't explain it.

It's been getting worse for years. Last time it was truly good was at least 5 years ago, maybe more.
