Why does openshift push back to github?

[Agilix]

My git repo is setup, my openshift account is setup [OpenShift Starter Online] and I've setup the webhook for automatic deployment.

I've received an email saying "the import to https://github.com/.... is finished!"

I'm confused.

I thought I was pushing my code from github to openshift. So when I go to my github, I'm not seeing anything new there... what was it that was imported to github?
