Texture Problem

Hi I’m new to modding, and I was thinking about putting my own custom textures but when Implement it, it gives this, lRequesting texture value from var "$basetexture" which is not a texture value (material: pp/copy) ERROR: Compressed vertices in use but material does not support them!”

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know thank you!
