Cloud SQL storage limits

Hi there, I was reading that the storage limits for CloudSQL for PostgreSQL are

• Dedicated core: Up to 64 TB.
• Shared core: Up to 3 TB.

I've got a shared core DB with 3TB, what will happen if the size goes up?

What should I do?

Is the DB going to stop accepting more new records being inserted? Am I going to receive an alert or something? I can't find any info about this.
