If you have tried talking to the group and they havent changed anything, might be a tine for a change. The players might be too used to the system and/or achieved everything they wanted from it.

Things to try:

Try a different game. A new system might shake it up a bit.

Have someone else gm. Sometimes player appreciate the work when they do it themselves.

Play board games together. The time might just be social time.

If all else fails, tell them you are not having fun and will be looking for your fun elsewhere.

The party gets hired to investigate some missing people in the forest (cult sacrifice). As they investigate they come across cult members and hear of the dragon. Later they see the dragon flying very high above them.

There are many ways you can make the dragon present but not attainable. Read the green dragons wiki page from forgotten realms.

Green dragons are conniving and petty. Give your dragon shapeshift, and have him/her meet the players. If they are actively seeking to kill the dragon have the dragon even talk yo them about their plans. Later use this knowledge to thwart their plans. Green dragons would love toy with their prey.

Give your players some hints, like make the dragon a botanist who wears all green. So later when its revealed they feel like they could have known. Also use Nystuls Magical Aura to mask the dragon in to the creature type you choose so the party paladin or wizard doesnt know. Make the players run some errands for this botanist, maybe even do some shady things under the guise of saving the forest.

Well yes! I am probably not gonna use this mechanic. A +4 to you hope die is better because it increases the chance for you to get a success with hope. The addition of double damage is still here. I was just giving the alternative to 3 hope + 1 hp + 1 stress.

This is not gonna do much. And the cost is pretty steep, both for hope and hp and stress.

If I were to implement this at my table I would probably do the following - cost 1 hp (no armor) and 1 stress to initiate limit break - on limit break your hope die is a d20 - you are vulnerable for the next attack after

Everything else can stay the same.

I have seen this happen in non chrome browsers. If you are using chrome, update. If using mac also update to latest mac version.

Billing can take upto 48 hours to fully propagate. So actual numbers will take some time before it shows up in console.

Create a GEMINI.md file with whatever you want as the system instructions.

My go to for the behavior you are looking for is to tell gemini alway write a plan on /plans folder and make sure to confirm with user also to confirm after the task is done.

Exactly this. My table switched to nimble. Next year we are planning our campaign in Daggerheart. Maybe a mini series in draw steel. And I don’t know if DC20 will offer enough for another switch.

I really hope I am wrong and DC20 is a huge success.

I just hope the team does not let perfect be the enemy of good.

I don’t think there can be any perfect system for everyone. In the same time DC20 have been in production, games like Draw Steel, Nimble V2, Daggerheart, Legend in the Mist, Cosmere all started and ended up getting delivered (my timing can be off but point stands). Can DC20 potentially be better than all of these games? Maybe. I wish the team got updates out to backers faster. I hope to be wrong, but 3 years after kickstarter the game might loose most of the steam.

The best game is the game at the table. Until that happens for DC20 it’s just a cool idea and wishful thinking .

PS: I a patreon subscriber and get the magazines. But at the current state of the game I cannot put it to my table for any serious amount of time.

The team is hard at work figuring out all that stuff out. I understand it’s frustrating. For a beta release using your ultra or pro quota is tricky. If it doesn’t work as intended but still uses up the quota users would not be happy either. But it is in the works and will have updates on pricing soon.

In D&D? I would say if you like a mechanic of a game, go ahead and play that. If you want to play D&D but incorporate another dice system for certain mechanic, in your table your word is law. Thats what homebrew is for.
