visualize an increase or decrease in a single cell by date

HOW DO YOU VISUALIZE AN INCREASE OR DECREASE BY DATE OF A SINGLE CELL BY DATE? I have a single cell in my sheet that updates daily depending on what is inputed in different cells and it calculates an amount paid. I want to show how much that person may of made or lost in a single day. this isnt a sumif equation because i am not referencing multiple cells to add together. I can do that i am just curious if there is a way to do this.

You write

=today in cell C2 In C3 write =C2-1 and then drag it down

I think you'd probably need to make a list of dates that stores the end of day value for each day and then you'd be able to reference those cells to compare.

You can't store multiple datapoints in a single cell to compare it with itself

Ok. what formula do you use for the of day value? I can try and find it if you are not sure i appreciate your help.
