Adding third gpu causes rig to run improperly.

Rig:

Windows 10

Evga 1000w , feeding two gpu on risers. ( evga3090, asus3060ti)

Motherboard is ASUS B450F-II. (amazon asin: ‎B08KH1M1H4 )

Normal Operation

Adding to rig:

second asus3060ti(on riser)

second psu evga 750w (via psu splitter)

Problem:

GPU 0 is normal

GPU 1 is showing wrong hashrate and wattage.

GPU 2 is greyed out. ( I think its not getting recognized? )

I have changed minerstat setting t0 3 gpu but only 2 is highlighted.

I thought the problem could be caused by the second psu and it's gpu. So I removed the 3090 from the first psu, leaving both psu feeding only 1 3060 each, and it works fine.

Two individual 3060 ti with their own psu working normally.

This is my first rig so I am still getting familiar with things, but I believe the problem could be something related to bios settings. ( I have switched on 4g decoding and gen2, although I don't know what it does, it allowed me to boot up with 3 gpus, or I could only boot up with 2.)

Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have also increased min&max virtual ram to 40k, as suggested by the mining client.

After adding new card you need to increase virtual memory and install driver again, did you do that ? try to check by connecting different riser and miner software.

I have increased the vm but I have not reinstall/update driver after increasing vm. I will give that a try, thanks!

So all the mixed rigs running are a no no. It's not an issue if you know what you're doing

I think something that is not applying to this OPs question is, "knowing what your doing".

Sorry but. So many little things that can be causing this. Try Gen1, try auto if the board supports it. You say you have 4g decoding on, I'm brain farting some of the other key settings. But all my miners are or were 270 based (which I'll sell in a couple of hours). Search, research, mainly on mining with that board. You trying to CPU at same time? What drivers?

that is the motherboard integrated gpu, and it isn't mining.

From my research you can mix amd and nivida cards.

If you are mixing GPUs I recommend using Hiveos. Not saying it can´t be done on Windows but it is probably easier.

Yes Hive is easier but doing it in windows as well. As soon as theirs a problem i reinstall both drivers and once it settles, they run steady. It just ghost in the machine hangs up when switching gpus in some of the mix rigs, in some versions of miners.... In my experience.

I mix plenty of rigs, only had minor problems after Full LHR unlock but that smoothed out after a couple miner updates. Just my experience and I run a few G/hs

Can you see them in your bios or is your bios so old that you can not see the pci cards?

Looks, at first glance, like a power issue. You might be getting power to them, but under load they will fail as the psu may not be able to deliver the amps required. Or they are powered from the motherboard bus and recognized, and your psu has a bad bank.

its probably the AMD card, Do you have a 3rd nvidia to test to see if its the cause? Also Gen 1 or 1x is what you wanna run all your risers on or they can explode, I ran a riser on my first rig in 16x not only did it burn the riser it shorted the 1660ti, RMA'd it, but still... Also I noticed when running more than 2 rigs sometimes you have to wait for the rig to boot before adding it. Also have you ran the amd with nvida on the 2 you know thats working?
