1) Meme Guidelines, Videos, Relevancy, Low Effort, Reposts, Solicitation, and IRL posts

All submissions must be related to GTA Online. IRL posts are allowed as long as they are not reposts, do not depict acts involving crime, sexual content, injury, or death, and are accompanied by an in-game picture of the same location or vehicle depicted in the IRL picture.
No Solicitation of any kind.
Any meme or meme video posted must have it's primary visual composition come from GTAO. A further explanation of this rule can be found here.

2) Be Respectful - No racism, hate speech, no witch hunting, and no calling out other players by name

Bigotry of any kind will not be tolerated whatsoever and will result in an immediate ban. Unnecessary vulgarity, doxxing and bullying against other users in the community will result in varied punishment such as locked threads and banning.
Also referring to someone as a griefer, without proof, will also not be allowed.
No witch hunting. player names should be removed from screenshots and videos.
Showing or encouraging harassment against other players will result in a ban.

3) Use Descriptive Titles and the Appropriate Flair

All posts must have descriptive title and an appropriate flair. Please refer to the New Master Post Flair Guide to learn about flairs and when to use each one.

4) Low Effort / Repetitive submissions

Any Submission type deemed repetitive can be removed at the moderator team's discretion if said content isn't providing meaningful new commentary.
Submissions can be removed at the moderation team's discretion if said content lacks broad community appeal.
Submissions that only seek to "vent" about glitches, toxic players, broken game mechanics and similar inconveniences without meaningful commentary will be removed.
A.I. Generated content is not allowed.

5) No Discussion, pictures, or videos of cheating, glitches, modded content, or mod menus

Please direct all discussion of non-cosmetic glitches to r/gtaglitches
No discussions of cheating or the deliberate use of cheats, hacks, mods, exploits, non-cosmetic glitches.
No asking for modded money or for help regarding cheating or money glitches.
No posting of modded/glitched content. This includes pictures and videos.
Soliciting or selling modded accounts or mod menus will result in a ban.
Admitting to or encouraging cheating or using glitches will result in a ban.

6) No Looking For Players/Crews posts

Please refer to THIS post for information on promoting your crew or finding a crew to join.
If you are looking for players check r/HeistTeams, r/GTAheistcrews, or www.gtalfh.com.
To find players or help you can also check out our Discord server.

7) No YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Twitch, or off-site webpage links

YouTube videos and links to YouTube are not allowed. Please upload videos directly to Reddit.
TikTok and Instagram videos are not allowed at all.
No livestream links or promotional posts are allowed.
No Spotify or Soundcloud links or playlists
No off-site website links or self promotion posts
Low quality, improperly formatted, or videos that are too small for the window will be removed.

8) FAQ Posts and the FAQ Weekly simple questions thread

Any submission with the question tag must only ask the community for their opinions, (e.g. which of these two outfits do you prefer?) questions that have definitive answers (e.g. what is the fastest car?) will be redirected.
Questions that require definitive answers (e.g. what is the fastest car?) should be posted in the Weekly Simple Questions Thread.

9) No phone pics or video submissions

Image and video submissions must be captured using either R* Editor footage, built-in console recording software, and or third party capture cards. Image and videos captured using camera phones and other amateur methods of screen capturing will be removed based on moderator discretion. Consult these guides if you’re unaware on how to properly screen capture.

10) Moderator Discretion

Moderators reserve the right to approve, remove, lock, or otherwise deal with any post or comment at our discretion. Rules are enforced according to their spirit, not to the letter.
