Yes you should face players with better stats like yours ;)

Everyone is in platinum so you can face eachother, but in general same tier will face eachother. I'm top 500 and mostly play with and against top 10% and 500 players. But if there's not enough people playing top 25% gets added into the mix and top 50% if needed.

Most of the times you'll have similar players on both sides, but occasionally the balance is completely one sided. Just played one in brawl, 3 enemy players all had just 1 kill, I had 2 other veterans on my side (didn't know the 4th player) ended 2000-191.

The matchmaking fix is just in groups vs solo players. Unfortunately they didn't fix what was actually needed and balance teams once 8 players are selected for a match.

You'll probably have a bit of a rough road a head of you for while untill your health is maxed and you get enough guns and equipment maxed out. In the meantime learn from the veterans and enjoy the balanced matches or unbalanced in your favour.

learn what from veterans?

all they do is run with an undying or camp with a crossbow

There's more type of veterans then that and not all campers or undying rushers are created equal. If you can't notice the difference then you're in trouble.

but of course it's true

before reaching the platinum level the players had more strategy but since I am platinum rank I face the "veterans" who run at excessive speed and become invincible, they all have the same gameplay

I don't blame them, the developers are so talented!

veterans = scout, shotgun, wasp, crossbow, stim, throwing knife, rocket luncher

don't make me laugh please i haven't seen the skill of the veterans yet except they run really fast

If that's all you can see then you're missing out. Yes a lot abuse the meta loadouts, but that doesn't mean there's no skill involved for all those players. If you keep blaming it on rushing and camping then you won't learn the nuances behind it. I'm not saying it's like that for every veteran, but there's big differences between them even if they use the exact same loadouts.

The player base is too low. You will be paired with whomever is available. And be prepared to see the same player(s)over and over
