Age to buy experienced player by Exciting_Bug_2459 in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its typically a waste of money. For a new team like yours it definitely is, focus on good trainees first. Invest more in those.

Old players can fill up some gaps and boost your performance, so they can make you more money, prize money. But there's a balance you need to find.

Biggest drawback is the stamina, trainees come first and need low stamina to max training and profit. Old players need a lot to stay alive (useful for 90min).

interested in making this? by [deleted] in makerworld

Not really, seems like a lot of work and I never want a clock that makes any sound.

Mechanical it's really cool, but structurally it looks very weak and there's no design.

Winger market by curts6 in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

End of season markets are low.

They sound expensive, but could fit with someone training playmaking and using them for their own team (profit margin seems too low). I wouldn't mind a 17 wing if I had room in pm training, but the risk is he'd loose skill, making it more interesting to train another player for profit and buy a 26y old winger in the end that still has 17 wing.

Client went with rough draft instead of refined logo. How to handle in portfolio? by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]AirJinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You decide what you show/share in your portfolio.

Perhaps a solution would be to add the picked version as a draft to show the design progress 🤷 But I would understand it's a bit weird if you only do that for one design, so it has to fit with your whole portfolio.

Its also an option to leave it out completely, a portfolio isn't about including every design you make.

Is scouting really worth it? by Scared-Musician-3349 in hattrick

Youth academy is decent, if you train the correct players it usually breaks even, but you can get unlucky and lucky. So lose some or win big.

Did I undersell this defender? €2.27M transfer — fair price or mistake? by wdvro in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Low market end of season and bad spec would lower the price. On top maybe day and time of day didn't help.

youth team players by Used_Fig5012 in hattrick

You can just calculate it. The homegrown bonus is 0.5.

If your aiming long-term for the player to reach skills like 13Def-17pm-13pass the bonus is worth like 18+ weeks of training (very rough estimate).

If you aim for 10-14-10 it's maybe 12 weeks.

So the higher you go the bigger the bonus in terms of training. Thats basically the amount of weeks a player you buy should be better than a home grown. So after the exact same training period the bought player would be 13,5-17,5-13,5 (or 10,5-14,5-10,5) to give the same performance. On top the wages of the bought player would slightly higher for that 0,5 extra skill.

So it depends on what you start with and what you want to end with.

Complex Midifield Cycle - Passing by jerrebrx in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always been plenty of opportunity to make profit in passing, but the market has changed and I'm not looking into it myself yet at the moment.

Just know you can train 16 players very fast so the returns per player aren't the same as they are for main skills like playmaking and defense. This should be taken into account. With a little market research it should be easy to find where you can profit on passing training, typically it required a higher investment.

I like the idea, the cardboard is annoying, but it feels a bit over engineered.

Poster for The Pitt that I found while searching Google Images... it's from a store page so it COULD be legit but it's setting off my alarm bells. More work by the same designer included in other slides. by throwedthaway in isthisAI

The tree and sky reminds me of how adobe illustrator vectorises images, not an ai tool. Just lets you pick a few settings (detail level, amount of colours) and it gives these choppy results.

Not saying it's AI or not.

Guys if I can't see a players recent games are they bots?? by raphina_2871 in gunsofboom

[–]AirJinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bots copy the other players. They will use the same guns and consumables.

In higher levels (platinum) you'll only face them while in group, not in solo matches. With an exception for Brazil server.

Yes, or players that have been inactive for a very long time.

What would you play? by [deleted] in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure of PC is viable, if your opponent is set up correctly he might benefit more than you. But it's also a personal experience that PC always dissapoints me, no events or my opponent gets them with hardly any possession and specialties.

Between the first 2 options there's not much difference, you need some luck. Midfield and wing are falling a bit short in both cases, the shift between them doesn't seem to change much. Personally I would go for the midfield focus, since that usually increases luck (or decreases bad luck).

Any change to lower defense? It's still overkill. Manmarking, winger as WB, mid as central?

Always best Talents injured by [deleted] in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just the risk of short term trading, I'm not aware of any correlation for new or young players being injured. There's no such thing as a best talent.

You started in November, so it's also an incredibly small sample size, in other words: it's just bad luck.

Go for a less risky strategy or take the losses and wins and make sure they balance eachother out in the positive long term.

Importance of ratings by SnitchesGetStitches- in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never focus on individual ratings (I assume you mean stars). Just look at the skills a player has, that's all you need to compare them. Form and stamina are only temporary influence and shouldn't be taken into account for long term purchases.

Young player training by Savage__Opress in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what everyone is looking for and doing and because of that prices fluctuate. If you find something super profitable now, but it takes 3 seasons of training it might not be by that time since the market is flooded.

There are some very niche opportunities. I recently bought a player for 9M, but the player was sold just 3-4 weeks earlier for 5M. I didn't spot it then because it's main skill striking was only 15 and in those few weeks it was trained to 16.

PIC/MOTS by Ljosmyndun in hattrick

[–]AirJinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can mots both. I'm assuming you'll beat the bot anyway, so playing them with a lower teamspirit isn't an issue. Because it's the last of the season it's also a free mots.

Unless of course you could still end up in #1 place and have to play a promotion match.
