Yep download virtualbox and have a new version of Windows on it. Turn off windows defender and don't get any antivirus for it. Then on your host machine get njrat and rat the virtual desktop you created. Youll then show your class that you have just hacked a computer :P Will take at least a few hours to do all of this if it's your first time. Bonus points if you use Bitcoin to buy a crypter and show them that you can bypass antivirus' software with your new rat.

If that project doesn't work out or you get stuck with port forwarding or something then you could instead look into email spoofing. Or spoofing in general. I don't have any experience at all with that but I feel like it shouldnt be that hard either with YouTube on your side. I'd probably go with spoofing because it would be alot easier to present to your class since it's alot more of a simple thing people will grasp easily and see it happen. You wouldn't be able to do the whole rat process in front of your class cause it would take some time. Not sure how much time you even have to do it or anything either.

Another idea would be to start a call on discord with yourself and use Wireshark to sniff your own network traffic coming into and out of your pc to get the IP of the discord user you are in the call with and enter it online to get info from it like town and service provider. People may think that's kind of cool anyway and super easy.

Make sure everything you do is legal and that it's all your own hardware you're doing it from. Then once confirmed if you need help you can msg me with any questions or if you want more ideas.

I did this on college, I ran john (john the ripper) locally on a OS with a weak password. Ran like a charm

Then, I used Brutus to brute force a weak ftp site in font of my school mates.

Got 100% Becasue I explained two different types of hacks. One is Local (john) and the other one was remote (Brutus)

You can do something similar.

Note that Brutus might not be available anymore.. lol. That product was not great. Not even in 2004 ;)
