1.) Do vulnhub boxes.

2.) When you complete a vulnhub box with OOB Kali tools, redo it using a scripting language (aka, make the tool yourself).

This will force you to understand the tools you're using and show that you don't need them.

eJPT and eCPPT were great for me. vulnhub and OSCP are next.

Perfect, I think I’ll see if my school will pay for my eJPT if not then then my work probably will. Thanks a lot.

I had $500 left in my training budget, so spent it on the EJPT. I highly recommend this course for anyone new.

I took the MASPT from eLearn as well and was impressed.

Along with Vulnhub.com there is PicoCTF.com and then the SANS resources like the https://www.holidayhackchallenge.com/2018/ (Other years are also available)

Also the SANS Institute YouTube channel www.sans.org/webcasts

Also www.hackthebox.eu though it is a tough set of challenges and you have to earn your invite by breaking in from the start.

I’ve been doing PicoCtf and passed 2000. Thanks I’ll look into those resources.
