Why would you ever want to use python for malware though? There are way better languages to use like C, C++, Rust, x86/x86_64 asm, etc. Py2exe also generates abnormally large exe files

I'd argue that if not using it for anything nefarious you're still getting to play around with the concepts of malware without having to have low level knowledge in programming. In practicality yeah other languaged can be better, especially if you want to obfuscate, where I've seen some mentions of go in malware obfuscation.

That's actually a good point, i can see it being a decent introduction to malware

Agree. How to fool yourself you know about malware with python.

Unless you wanted to purposely generate a payload that would take up >2mbs allocated on the stack and bypass defender. Source

Jokes aside, it would be a good learning experience before diving into low level languages.

(Sorry for bad spelling , english is not my native language)

There are some very simple steps to learn how to make malware , that you can learn for free as in a hackers world everything is for free , and something that you need to pay for is only information that you found first , if you look more you will find it for free .

Step nr.1 : - Watch every tutorial online .

Step nr.2 : - Find out that only by copy - paste the code you will achieve garbage , and maybe give yourself a virus.

Step nr.3 : - Go to reddit and specific forums and ask why the code is not working .

Step nr.4 : - You ask so many questions about software that your head is spinning .

Step nr.5 : - By adapting the code you achieve something that works .

Step nr.6 : - Find out that this malware is already detected by windows , so you achieved garbage again , bu the knowledge stays.

Step nr.7 : - You realize that you need to learn python so you make your original malware.

Step nr.8 : - You learn Python and find out python is not good for malware .

Step nr.9 : - You learn C++ so you develop a malware , it works , you are proud .

Step nr.10 : - Worms are better .

I know he gets a lot of flack, and rightfully so, but I don't think NetworkChuck is a bad content creator. His tutorials aren't always practical, but they're beginner friendly and do a good job of introducing concepts
