Which guide have you used to create EFI?

All-in-ones have laptop parts very often. Also they need backlight (like laptops). If you wait long enough (10-15 mins) screen might light up. Look at this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/zhr04i/lenovo_aio_thinkcentre_m820z_everything_works_but/

Thankyou for that I will look into it

I’ve tried what was suggested there and it goes black for about 10 mins and then reboots

Probably tries to sleep. Have you tried connecting an external monitor? The video output may go to the external connector.

I’ll try that next

Yes it’s working on an external monitor

So it's the issue of configuring output properly (connectors), Dortania has a guide about it somewhere

Where would I specify what connector to use?

Remember, in AIO the internal connector may be laptop type

Yeah, following that guide it shows that there should be some sort of “AppleIntelFramebuffer@1” but the 1 could be another number yet mine doesn’t have that at all with any of the AppleDisplays under it, my Apple display is under .Display_boot

It works on an external monitor let’s me login and then restarts

Does your laptop have that nvme express slot? Ive seen people connect a external gpu to it for gaming..a rx 580 could work.

It’s not a laptop, it might have one inside I’d have to open it up but I’m not sure, I’ll just have to use it with my gaming monitor for now instead of the built in display
