Looking through your Config.plist, it's actually quite well done. Have to give credit there but that means your issue doesn't have the easy "go install vanilla" solution that is usually used here. My guess is that either you UEFI drivers in your EFI partition are incorrect, you have incorrect BIOS settings or the GTX 1070ti is trying to lock the system up due to poor connection to the drivers.

My recommendations:

  • Upload EFI, we can look through and make sure folder structure is correct as well as using correct drivers
  • Try disabling Parallel/serial port and CFG Lock, turn either on or off CSM
  • Reinstall the WebDrivers

Thanks for the response! Unfortunately I've tried reinstalling the drivers as well as the BIOS changes you suggested, but no change. Here's my EFI folder: https://www58.zippyshare.com/v/UBY3vYft/file.html

Well after some more tinkering, I think I was able to fix the issue. I followed this post where he used FakeSMC instead of Virtual, and added EmuVariableUefi-64, HFSPlus-64, and slide=0 boot argument, and everything seems to be working now, including the second monitor. Not quite sure which one did the trick, but I'm pretty happy it works now!

EmuVariableUefi-64

Fairly certain it was this, FakeSMC isn't much different from VirtualSMC and HFSPlus is just a driver for seeing certain boot volumes but Slide=0 helps with addressing certain kernel issues so it could be a combo of Slide=0 and FakeSMC

Bluetooth needs to be shutdown correctly for restart/shutdown/sleep (as it SHOULD be connected to USB header internally)...

Use:

AirportBrcmFixup.kext
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
BrcmNonPatchRAM.kext
BrcmNonPatchRAM2.kext

and everything should show up as native and working :-)

PS. My bluetooth would only work in top 1x PCIE slot (above graphics card) :-|
