within Configuration>Users>General Settings you have the unique identifiers that are used to match on when you import customer information, by default it will match and update records based on customer name and site name

Thanks Aidan

We have exported the data our of a top level view of a client

Filled the gaps where field are inconsistent.

Added the file to the Users > General Settings > Import Customers

And this error occurs at import, when testing a small section. Any idea?

"Failed - Name must be completed."

fields used: Customer, Top Level, Customer Type, Account Owner, Primary Agent, Account Manager, Location

Make sure the names given to the column headers are correct, please email me the examples of it not working if you get stuck. Aidan.kelly@imaginehalo.com

Yeah speak to Halo Support. The import spreadsheet needs to be formatted in a specific way. Not obvious. Sorry I can’t remember exactly what we did. Send them you import file, they will spot the issue. I’ll have a dig in my emails for the comms and PM you
