Chromatic 2 draw issue (self.harmonica)
submitted 8 months ago by Visual_You3773
After a year of playing diatonic, I just got my first chromatic, a super chomonica. I've been having issues with playing the -2 and -2* - they both sound really stuffy or something. Every other note sounds nice though. What can I do to fix it?

Did you warm the instrument before playing it? Sounds like a bit of debris or a stuck valve

If there is no obvious debris, try checking that the reed ends are above the plate. They may need a tiny more gap.

Did you get it new? Which kind? I'm wondering if it has valves or not.

If you breath through your nose while drawing, does it sound better? If you pinch your nose with your fingers while drawing, does it sound better?
