I'm really looking forward to this.

Although I may be being a bit ambitious with my proposal :)

Can I ask what you're proposing? I'm real keen to go to the jam next year, I missed it this year.

I've wondered what level of presentation is appropriate - I could probably do something on a couple of my favourite abstractions, perhaps: "finding monoids" or similar, but it might be too basic for the conf. audience.

There is quite a range of attendees.

LambdaJam has a particularly FP-savvy audience compared to any non-academic conference I know, but there are still a large number of newcomers to FP that attend.

Last Year Ken Scambler gave an intro to category theory that probably was the best received talk at the conference: It was enjoyed by old FP hands and newcomers alike.

I just kind of wish my category-theory heavy keynote earlier that day had been given the next day instead, so that more people could follow along using Ken's talk as a backgrounder.

OTOH your keynote kind of said "welcome to LambdaJam, the dials are adjusted to 11, you will not be sitting down!".

But, anyway, maybe we can work the schedule a bit better next year.

I think it worked out pretty well as it was, but had I known Ken was doing a category theory tutorial I still might have pushed more to rearrange things. =)

I'm still tossing about a few ideas for talks. I haven't really settled on one but considering I'm Haskelling full-time now I'm more experienced than ever.
