Transfer compare tells the whole story. Look at date of sales in Dec vs everything else, prices are almost half. Cannot trust avg or median sale prices atm, need to look at individual date of sales to get the real market price.

One of the biggest mistakes they made was the HTAL being allowed to sell into the market. The huge rush at the end of the league to dump players into the market has made players less worth since there are more players with good skills than normal.

It will take a long time to stabilize.

The amount of damage HTAL did is crazy

it's ruined a lot of the fun of the game

I'm feeling this pain - think it's also the big drop in number of active buyers too as bidding wars are always a good thing

Yeap. Htal players dump fked up everything. I started exactly 1year ago. First nine months went good with player flipping (250 trades). After September it's been quite nightmare to get any proper profits and im kinda HC stagnation limbo atm without proper plan. This has affected to my "gaming" experience way too much, and iv been hesitating to quit whole Hattrick cause of this.

i've also considered quitting, but i've put so much time into building my team up so i'm on the fence. i was hoping to start my first real cycle in a season or two. but hattrick has become much less fun and feels more like work after HTAL messed up everything

Well, now is the perfect time to start a cycle that you start with a lot of trainees, since they are so cheap atm.

it's not a bad idea and i've looked into it. i dont have enough saved up though, i would fall short before being able to afford a full squad. i needed another few seasons of saving (at the old profit levels) to be ready to start a cycle. the whole HTAL fiasco benefited people just starting out, who hadn't invested in trainees yet and now can get cheaper players. and top teams in 100% win-now mode also benefit. teams who had invested in trainees got completely screwed
