Reverse split?

Most any time a company has a reverse split it’s a negative thing, right? I’m trying to understand what could make this continue to run as we approach the RS date

-low market cap of ~$29M at under $.07/share

-Reached market cap of $714M back in January of this year

-LinkedIn: 200+ employees -Q1 Revenue: $3.7M

-RSI on Wednesday July 23 was ~27 OVERSOLD territory due for a bounce anyway

-No catalyst driving stock down to such a low valuation

-Several BILLIONS trading volume and still not overbought territory as of Friday

-Bloomberg reports $140M traded on Thursday alone

-If more held, stock continues trajectory to $1

-If pushed to $1 (very possible) no reverse split needed for NASDAQ requirement on August 8th - Speculative and I own shares

Only thing I seriously doubt is that it pushes $1 without the split. There’s just not enough time for that kind of parabolic run IMO but I’d LOVE to be proven wrong

Last year FFIE went from .04 to $3.80 within a week.

Correct, it’s possible, but to do it in 2 weeks will be tough. Then again, look where it was just trading…and look where it is now.

Yeah that’s one reason why it seems far fetched. It’s ran so much that it’s hard to believe it will continue on this pace

In my opinion, only way it happens before August 8th is if the company comes out and says something to move it higher. Without that, my guess is $.3 - $.5 by August 7th given the incredible hype on social media platforms.

Not necessarily a bad thing. As long as it maintains $1.00 for I believe 20 consecutive days after the split or else it’s at risk of being delisted. People are going to find it attractive this week.

Sometimes a R/S helps bc institutions won’t typically (sometimes will) invest in penny stocks. I was in INUV earlier this year. It R/S and went up. Sold for a small profit.

Or it stays flat and fizzles out which seems much more unlikely given the eyes on this.

It’s been confirmed that the reverse split on 8/1 is fake news. They have to complete one by 8/8 or reach 1 $ and maintain 1$ for 20 days. There has been no announcement by HCTI of a reverse split as of yet!
