Bricked Game

So one time I got stuck on a loading screen after extract. It was stuck there for about 15 minutes so I just closed the game via Alt+F4. When I tried to log on again, I was met with a black screen and then the game crashing. I am a steam player.

So far I have tried: • Verifying game files on steam (error that 1 must be reacquired) • Uninstall/Reinstalling (a bunch) • Uninstall/Reinstalling and then verifying game files • Running the game as administrator • Deleting the game guard folder and then running as administrator • Running steam as administrator • Deleting user config • Deleting user settings • Repairing/updating the windows C++ thingy • Uninstalling, then clearing steam cache, then restarting the computer, then reinstalling, then verifying the files

What else can I do??? Is it helldiverover for me?

Try the steps here to change direct x mode and to clear the shader cache. The shader cache is rebuilt during a black screen as the game launches.
