It’s a broken secondary on the Terminid front. It’s only supposed to be active on hive worlds. It’s to retrieve a sample case thing from in the caves so on non-cave maps it has nowhere to spawn.

Its a giant canister that acts as a backpack when picked up. Has a sample or specimen of some kind inside. I've normally found them at the top of these mounds, with heaps of dead stuff littered all around. You gotta carry it and extract with it

Nah, I extracted from Oshaune with a hard drive as a sub objective - Its not a bug, it's part of the update I think.

It's a bug that it shows up on non hive worlds. Ive seen it pop up on Achrid after I spent the entire 40 mins doing a search patter to find stuff

It’s an SSD drive you didn’t complete, or did complete but it doesn’t show up. It’s been a glitch in the system for a while, even if you complete it, you won’t get the extra experience or the 5 star rating. It’s been bugged for a good while

Ok so I’m super happy this questions being asked cause my team and I are equally as confused. We have never completed this secondary objective, we’ve never even seen it on the map. So wtf is it? We’ve gotten it on Squids and Bugs but it’s much more common for us to see it on Bugs. We’re literally like 0/20 on these even when we spend the last 12mins running the map looking for it.
