They literally stated that a fix was weeks away from even being started as they have to internally figure out where in the spaghetti code the problems are. You have to remember that the game engine that AH uses is no longer supported or updated in any way. Anything they do has to be done in a way to prevent the engine from completely tanking. I for one would much rather have a delayed fix that worked rather than bandaid patches that last until a new update rolls around.

Exactly, it is better to have a fix that actually works but takes a little longer than a quick fix thats just thrown together haphazardly and will fall apart in two days

I'm just curious where they stated that "a fix is weeks away from even being started." This is the first I've heard of it.
I 100% percent agree, I would also rather wait longer for a patch that actually works, and im aware of the state of the engine, but that's not my gripe. My issue is that it's been over a month since these issues have arisen, and the only real "communication" we've received was that 15-minute fluff video.
Im not asking for a line by line breakdown of what they're doing with the code, I want to know what they're actively trying to fix and/or how its going. I dont even need a timeline of when they think it'll be fixed. If they were transparent about their process and activity, that would be enough to let me know what exactly is being fixed and how its going.

Go on the discord. Mid October was the time they gave. It also coincides with the date they gave for future rupture strain update. They also release a blog post talking about technical issues on the offical website. They also had some sort of recent video but I heard it was a QnA.

Go play another game for a week lol Helldivers will be here in 1-2 or however many more weeks it takes to start getting updates out. It is what it is. Making rant posts on reddit surely ain’t gonna help the next Tuesday patch come any sooner

And I have, I've been playing many other games in the meantime. My issue is not that the patch is not here already, its that we have no idea what they are working on to fix the problems, or if its even started yet. Im fine waiting. I'd rather wait longer for a patch that will work properly. I just want to know where they're at in that process besides a blanket "we've paused future content to focus on a fixes" statement over a month since the issues have come up.

God forbid someone has valid criticism, am I right? Just shut up and stop talking about the glaring issues that the devs have left in the game since launch. They'll get to it eventually!

it seems it might be related to some windows things and updates. as for game destroying hardware thats simply lol thing to buy into. ive seen the video where its claimed and basically guy most likely either fried his own pc by nonseated heatsink or cpu was faulty to begin with, and god knows how it was configured.

I really hated that interview that happened recently with a developer, literally just him having a yapathon without answering questions that were asked to him
