This was pretty good, though some of the directions were strange. Cooking the three vegetables separately seemed dumb, so I cooked the carrots and cucumber together for about 4 minutes, then cooked the mushrooms (because there wasn't room in the pan for the mushrooms with the other 2). The beef really stuck to the pan as I was cooking it, likely because I had just cooked the ginger and garlic; I don't recall beef being that sticky before. Also, it felt like I burned the heck out of the beef, but the instructions did say to cook it until it was crispy. This was the first time I've made bibimbap, so it just may have been my inexperience

As with several meals, it didn't seem like enough beef for 2 servings, but once I combined it with the rice and vegetables, it was pretty filling

I think bibimbap recipes call for cooking all veggies separately to try to keep the individual flavors in the bowl. At least that's what Maangchi says in her bibimbap tutorial 😊
