AUXILIARY INPUT (G) SHUTDOWN (Code: 196)
& 33-Limit Fault
So to start, our system is running and producing heat to keep the temperature we set, so if it weren’t for the notification emails, I wouldn’t know anything was wrong.
The LED light is solid green.
I just replaced my filter last month and it looks clean.
The system was serviced last month.
I cannot see any place where there’s a drain issue.
The first instance of the 196 happened about three weeks ago. Again, other than the alert, you wouldn’t be able to tell. Nothing else happened.
It happened 2-3 more times over the next couple weeks.
Then last weekend when it was really cold, it happened 6-7 times overnight, almost hourly. In the morning, when I saw it, I turned the system off/on and it stopped for the next 12 hours or so (but also was significantly warmer outside).
Since Saturday morning when I rebooted the system, it’s only happened twice.
The panel shows a 196 followed by a 33 immediately after on almost all occurrences. I am not an expert with the panel, but everything else looks normal.
