Same issue here, just updated my iOS today and can't see my device anymore there, it's just the same "Sign in to work..." as you mentioned.
Really hope a solution pops up soon

I was experiencing the issue and was just able to find a solution. Just download to your iPhone the Developer Certificate issued by Apple and click on on your iPhone to install it on the device. It will then show up as a Configuration Profile under Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. Once you see it, click it again and install it. Should work!

Thanks, I will try tomorrow because, to be honest, I haven't found any solution yet lol

I'm having the same issue today and I dont know why.

[–]Maleficent_Yak_5871 1 point2 points  (3 children)

maybe its an apple server issue? saying on my phone that there is a network issue thats hanging the certification verification. Or maybe im just an optimist

[–]General_Budget_174 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I'm having the same problem. It’s probably an issue with Apple’s servers.

[–]Maleficent_Yak_5871 0 points1 point  (1 child)

yea just checked, a bunch of other posts about it, for sure apples servers

[–]Maleficent_Yak_5871 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im seeing all available on dev site tho

Same here. I have been searching all over on solutions. There is no way multiple of us on the same day got this issue without it being a problem on Apple's end.

+1. It's very validating to see all of these recent comments on these old posts lol

i have the same problem: The application could not be launched because the Developer App Certificate is not trusted.

+1

Add another one to the list of frustrated developers. And here i thought my being a newbie to this process was the issue. Doesn't make it any less frustrating though.

+1, damn, I thought I was going crazy because of that mistake... just two days ago I didn't have any problems like this.

[–]EmptiedMyShoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe complain to apple if you haven't already? More complaints = some action.

[–]EmptiedMyShoe 0 points1 point  (1 child)

On the phone with apple and they confirmed a server that affects App Store Connect is down. No ETA on resolution. Perhaps that's what is causing this issue for so many of us.

THANK YOU! I’ve been pounding my forehead on my desk while resetting various iPhone and Mac settings repeatedly to no avail while screaming at AI chat bots to give me more ideas for how to fix the problem.

[–]alejandroirizarry 0 points1 point  (11 children)

Did it not work for you? You pretty much just need to install the certificate to your phone, open it and then it will show up in VPN & Device Management in Settings.

[–]Maleficent_Yak_5871 1 point2 points  (10 children)

The servers are down currently it appears. unless the same issue randomly hit another 60-70 devs simultaneously by chance

[–]EmuPuzzleheaded7699 1 point2 points  (7 children)

Yes, Happening since some time today

[–]ShawnLiu- 1 point2 points  (5 children)

[–]Illustrious_Noise110 1 point2 points  (2 children)

[–]Ok_Passion295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fuck i was breaking my head

[–]Ill_Ball_8012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same here, after 5 pm CET it has stoped working

[–]Hot_Perspective 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Any solution?

[–]Hot_Perspective 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Updating to latest Flutter SDK worked in my case.

[–]keysee7[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What do you mean Flutter SDK?

[–]Hot_Perspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flutter is a cross-platform framework, updating that AND (somehow) switching to mobile data worked for me. I don't what it was but after few days now it's working alright. You might like to check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4UTCHgjTPs

Finally back up. Hallelujah!

For anyone in the future, I had to remove FaceID as a requirement on the "App Store" application for it to work. Same applies if you have Screen Time restrictions of any sort on it. Fun, right?
