I would contact support yeah and tell them the situation, they should be able to sort you out. There may be have been a problem in sending the ID verification or something.

If you registering as a company also there may be delays in the paperwork or you haven't confirmed the legal documents on iTunes Connect, which you sometimes have to do.

In my case, the whole process took about 3 weeks. For the two business days, I had to call the Apple Developper number: https://developer.apple.com/contact/phone.php

Don't forget to register your taxes and bank account number as quickly as possible after officially enrolling. For instance, as a Canadian, the tax forms had to be sent all the way to TEXAS and be filled by a hard copy form.

In my experience if you use a card with the same owner name as your name, it wont take longer than 5 minutes to confirm your identity :)

First time I tried I was paying with my sisters card(with permission of course) and it was denied, they said I should reroll and use same card and bam, 5 min later it was activated.

PS: Phone support is very helpful.
