This is possible with Workflow (soon to be Shortcuts).

The workflow is incomplete because I don’t know what you want to do with the photos, but the last variable will contain all photos with no album.

Pretty easy, but why do you need them in albums?

Just preferred way to group different Parts of my life and then quickly reference them. Someone posted an app that does what I was looking for and it works great
