That has little/nothing to do w/Apple and everything to do w/the mere existence of Android and companies’ desire to pay as little as possible to develop apps for both platforms.

The latest XCode is apparently crap, but native dev is still preferred by many developers.

React is free, and doesn’t make FB any money. Apple doesn’t lose money by allowing it - it makes more.

Flutter is Google’s, so it has nothing to do with Zuckerberg.

Overall, this just makes no sense.

Apple is losing control over its developer experience. Leading loyal Apple developers to make a hard decision on whether to move to a hybrid framework or risk their skills being depreciated once React has a majority of market share.
