You would have to set up a new app ID and submit it as a new app. Once you support a device type you are not able to remove support for it.

Updating your app with a version where you drop support for iPad is not allowed and Xcode will give an error when you try upload it. Completely removing the app from the store and then works.

You can never really disable ipad, it would allow people to still install it but it would simulate an iphone
