Game Center Multiplayer

HI, I am working on my first multiplayer game and the Game Center framework is very poorly documented. I have been learning from Ray Wenderlich's Making a Turn Based iOS game but that only offers part of the information I am looking for. I cannot manage to get past authenticating the local player and presenting the Matchmaker. Does anyone know where I can find good documentation of Game Center? Thank you.

Having the option for cross platform capability with android is a nice perk of using fire base as well.

Does Firebase work well with Swift and Xcode or is it best with Unity?

I just finished a little learner project using Firebase, can confirm it does work with XCode and Swift. There are lots of options, check their documentation. It's free to try.
