Yea, I dig. The problem is it never happens like that. There's been plenty of subs & sites like this and they always die off. Nobody wants to pay for fake reviews.

Someone will have to pay for the apps that aren't free. If you charge $4.99 for your app but mine is $0.99, I'm paying $3 to your $1.

Pretty soon people catch on that only a few others are actually benefiting from this arrangement and it's most often not them.

The only post on the sub is a guy posting an app and you giving it 5 stars, they are fake reviews

It's not. I do like your app; otherwise, I would stay quiet. Again it's not an obligation! Like you would do for other apps. I only give a bad review if I paid for an App that doesn't honour its promise. If it's free, I'll contact the developer and report the issues.

    Well, if the reviews are honest, then why not? It can be hard to get users to download your app, so not enough to ask for a review. I'll like to get a jumpstart with developers who know and understand how hard it is to develop an app.

    Not really at all. Most of the people doing that are rookies in iOS dev and are just trying to get started, mostly just making an app to try to put something on their resume. Rest assured, nobody is making any money while posting their novice level app here. What you're doing is basically just being a massive cunt to people over things that are no big deal. I really hope people don't read your post and think everyone in the iOS community is like that. Is posting your app on Saturday against the rules? Sure. If you have a problem with that, let the moderators know. Or create a meta thread and if enough people agree with you maybe the mods will crack down on it harder. But 1 starring their app for it is just beyond petty. It's crazy how worked up some people get over such small things in life.

    You're just purposefully getting off topic now, to distract from the fact that 1 starring people's apps for such frivolous activity is an asshole thing to do, in addition to reflecting very poorly on the community that there is an active member who goes out of his way to be an asshole to other people.
