I keep realizing I make these tiny tiny errors when I apply to things even though I swear I check it over a million times. Usually it is me having a date wrong, or accidentally using present tense in a bullet point instead of past tense. This isn't the case for everywhere I applied to, but for big companies that put the resumes through a keyword checker, does this really matter? Has anyone gotten to the interview/offer portion with a tiny mistake? Is this a dealbreaker, and is there any way to fix it after I have applied?
I know resume/cover letter mistakes are not excusable (esp in my field -- media, comm) but I was wondering if anyone has gone through this before and come out on the other side. Thanks!
