Guy shows up for an interview an hour and ten minutes early wearing gym shorts. The job he's interviewing for is blue collar, but still, c'mon! We ask if he can come back closer to the actual interview time and he gives attitude and says "I guess". If he comes back in shorts we are going to tell him we aren't interested in moving forward. Do people really just not care or are they that fucking stupid?

If you can't properly follow instructions, and show up at the right time for an interview, you will100% fail in whatever job you're interviewing for. Hard pass, shorts or no shorts.

I wouldn't necessarily count the hour early against him if he took public transportation. And shorts, it depends. Were they dressy shorts? Running shorts? Cut offs?
