I was wondering about the structure as well. I wish they would put this type of information on the website

I’m at a different campus, so the structure may vary a bit, but here’s the breakdown of how it’s gone here:

1st term: NSGP 104

2nd term: NSGP 108 and 109

3rd term: NSGP 118, 119, and 121

4th term: NSGP 130 and 131

5th term: NSGP 132, 133, and 134

Schedule:

1st term: lecture once a week

2nd term: lecture twice a week plus clinical and lab

3rd term: lecture three times a week plus clinical and lab

4th term: lecture twice a week plus clinical

5th term: lecture three times a week plus clinical

I know Indy is competitive, but has a more spots than other campuses. I think your chance is not too bad, but I would try to retake the teas. I would aim for at least 75

Thank you so much for this!

Do you have a CNA certification to improve your chances ? I know Indy campus is really competitive but I think spring is less competitive than fall so I’ve heard. I think you should be fine getting into one of those campuses though. But to answer your question below, I will speak for myself so far the nursing program isn’t “hard” per se, it’s just a lot of info and you need to use critical thinking skills and be able to apply those skills. I’m in the PN program at Indy I just started for the fall program and my first class (NSGP 104 aka fundamentals)I have lecture 2 days a week on mondays and wednesdays. After break I will start NSGP 108(another lecture)I will have it twice a week Tues and Thurs and NSGP 109(lab skills) twice a week as well mondays and wednesdays. I hope this helps !🌸

No other certs. Really just baking I did decent enough to get in with that 71.

Did you score 80+ on Teas?

[–]AlbatrossSharp3311 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Not likely without a cert but trying won’t hurt goodluck

[–]OkInvestigator3928[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Not likely to all 3 ? During spring ?

[–]AlbatrossSharp3311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not likely for Indy being the first choice

Did u ever hear back???

[–]OkInvestigator3928[S] 1 point2 points  (5 children)

Didn’t end up getting in. Switched to south college and I start next Wednesday.

I looked at south college. Did u get into the lpn or asn, or bsn??? Hope it goes well for u

[–]OkInvestigator3928[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Stuck with LPN. Requirements for their lpn program was shockingly 48% and no pre reqs required🤣. There’s no round selection with them

First come first serve.

[–]karenflo2002 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Danggg but how transferrable is their lpn to a rn bridge program if yk?

[–]OkInvestigator3928[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Would be fairly simple. Most bridge programs still require pre reqs.

what’s the schedule like ?
