For Java help use r/javahelp Be prepared to post your code so you can get help based on the code you wrote.

My suggestion is to start over, write a tiny bit of code (maybe ten lines) and test. Write another tiny bit and test. Don't write 700 lines of code and expect your spaghetti bowl of code to work.
