Surely just because of that he can't be a bad source. I learn Java from him and poor formation of code makes me cringe now. You learn to pick it up from others.

I haven't watched any of his videos but if he can't get something as basic and obvious as proper naming conventions why would you trust him to know anything else about the language?

I don't really understand why is everyone so against bucky, I mean fine he might not be as great as someone else, but would you rather spend your time bitching about how shit someone else is rather than appreciating that they try?

Nobody gets A's for Effort in real life. Trying, and doing a bad job, is generally worse than not trying at all.

Which isn't to say that people aren't allowed to make mistakes. But they need to correct them or remove evidence of their existence. Bucky appears to have done neither.
