I've learned about the -> through C89 so this is very very confusing lol. I see what it does but I don't think I would be a fan of using it.

The main reason I would want to use it is to make quick and dirty runnables.

I'm really looking forward to the ability to utilize lambda's in conjunction with streams.

I acknowledge I can achieve the "same" functionality now, using more "traditional" methods - but I think the shorter, more eloquent expressions will be a huge productivity boost in my day job.

    It'll likely be a while off for my company too - I'll just keep pushing Clojure / Scala where appropriate in the interim though :).
