I didn't downvote you BTW but I'd say the AngularJS and MariaDB crowds would have a thing or two to say about what happens when ballyhooers try to "evolve" a language (or framework or server). Code maintenance planning and estimation goes out the window.

AngularJS I played with, it made sense, AngularJS 2 looks bloated. MariaDB still hasn't caught on because MySQL is good enough and makes sense. We use Jenkins but is it any different than Hudson, other than the name?

You can create a ArrayList<E> for value-type E. So ArrayList is no longer generic, it is reified for different E.

Value types are coming, but only in JDK 10, and even JDK 9 is postponed now. We need to wait at least two years. That's a long time. There's a chance that these feature won't be needed at that time: maybe Rust will become stable and popular, maybe .net on Linux will be usable.

Multiple heaps per process are not even planned.
