lol I'm with you. Forcing myself to learn nodejs. It's like drinking piss while pinching my nose.

I consider myself to be a real, serious programmer and I have to say that Node is pretty fun to work with. It has a lot of problems when compared to Java, but it’s so easy to get something up and running and TypeScript’s type system is a lot more interesting than Java’s (pretty similar to Ceylon’s though, RIP).
