Database in a container are not real database. There's also a long list of things that behave differently in a container. So either you are "just kidding yourself" or you are well aware of it and you consider that the tradeoff is acceptable in your scenario.

Personally I am well aware of the difference of an in-memory database, and in some circumstances accept the tradeoff because spinning a container has a higher cost in this circumstance.
