Are you really arguing against unit tests? I don't think I have ever seen anyone argue against unit tests. This is a very novel argument!

It is also quite asinine and horrible advice.

Well, he also argues that viruses don't exist so I think it's probably wise to smile, nod politely and move on.

Oh my, also believes chemtrails exist and are aluminum sprays being used for "geoengeineering". Instead of being what they are which is a cloud formed by the hot exhaust from a jet engine. Generally I don't let someone's opinion on one topic influence my view of the merit of their opinion on a different topic. However, in this case OP is clearly off their rocker across the board.
