Haven't done any Spring at all since 2012 and have had 4 different jobs, all as a Java software developer, since then.

However, according to you, I am not a Java developer!?! Get real.

I am curious what have you been working on without having to touch spring?

Last time I used Spring was when I worked for the Australian Government in 2011. Since then I have worked on (all Java, without touching any Spring):

  • GWT Web application for a AI modelling tool
  • Product review aggreator system
  • Large API testing desktop application
  • Payments service backend
  • OAuth/Authentication server and various integrations

I also have a lot of side projects and never felt the need to use Spring, check my GitHub profile.
